In September 2022, HomeKeeper hosted a webinar to help users understand basic concepts of using Reports in Salesforce. Together, created a custom Report Type and a new Report in order to demonstrate reporting tools and functionality. This course builds on concepts covered in Reporting 101.

For this example, we created a report for all applicants grouped by a newly created custom field, “Application Year.” The report showed Race (from the Service File) for all applicants in a given year, regardless of whether the application was finished, and included “occupation” (from the Income Source).
