In May 2023, the HomeKeeper team met with users to demonstrate how to configure and use the new Financial Checkpoints feature to track changes in financial metrics over time. Available for Lightning users on versions 2.10 and beyond.

The support forum articles below will walk you step-by-step through 1) How to configure Financial Checkpoints on your Service File layouts 2) How to use the Financial Checkpoints feature to track changes in your client's financials and 3) How to customize Financial Checkpoints to add additional fields and/or custom "Types."
Revisit How to Update Client Financials
1) Use the Enter Applicants Link to create Primary Applicant and Co-Applicant records - then add Application Household Member Records for additional household members to calculate Household Size.
2) Enter Income, Assets, and Debts using Service File Related Lists
3) Add the AMI for income year you are reviewing
4) Add "Applicant Credit Score" and "Co-Applicant Credit Score" from the Service File "Details" tab, under the "Application Workflow" section. (*Note: these fields are not on the 1-1 Counseling Layout by default, but can be added if you choose. However, you will still need to enter "Credit Score" on the Counseling/Education record for 9902 Reporting).
